We’ve rounded up some of the best tree stuff on the web for your enjoyment. Check out this month’s highlights below:

Tree house creature comforts. A Southern Oregon sushi restaurateur picked an unusual design for his venue – a three-level tree house, nestled in a large white oak. The restaurant was featured in an episode called “A Sushi Lover’s Treehouse” on the show The Treehouse Guys. We just might have to make a reservation!

Church-Tree7 of the World’s Most Famous Trees. With their imposing size and symbolic weight, trees are already the plant world’s celebrities. But some trees can boast special A-list status, whether for their massive measurements, the number of years they’ve got under their belt (and inside their trunks), or their place in history.

This Guy Spent 4 Years Growing a Church from Trees. Talk about dedication! New Zealander Brian Cox, inspired by traveling and observing churches around the world, grew the tree-church (pictured right) in his own back yard.

Ancient Trees: Woman Spends 14 Years Photographing World’s Oldest Trees. San Francisco photographer Beth Moon has travelled the world in search of ancient specimens to photograph. These photos are now featured in her book, Ancient Trees: Portraits of Time, but you can scroll through samples in this article.
